P&O Britannia - Caribbean Cruise
Wave goodbye to winter on a journey of Caribbean discovery on board Britannia.
Swaying palm trees, golden beaches and warm turquoise seas. Lush green forests, teeming coral reefs and countless natural wonders. And don’t forget the rum! The Caribbean islands have it all – in abundance. But these beautiful and diverse islands each have their own unique flavour. And they’re bursting with treasures, always with something new to explore…
Britannia awaits you in sun-soaked St Lucia. After a full day at sea discovering just some of what Britannia has to offer, your first port of call is Tortola where you will find some of the loveliest and least crowded beaches in the Caribbean. Then, on to mellow St Kitts where you can visit Brimstone Hill Fortress Park, before lingering in one of the many plantation inns and losing yourself in the rhythms of soca – the soul of calypso.
Next it’s Antigua, the perfect place to get into the Caribbean spirit – (think relaxation) – where St John’s offers world-class retail therapy, while also being close to some of the best beaches, at Fort James, Deep Bay, Galley Bay and Hawksbill.
Soak up the natural beauty of Dominica, an Island of untamed rainforests, bubbling sulpher springs and coral reefs, where you might even spot a whale if you’re lucky. Finally it’s beautiful Barbados. Enjoy a day of water sports, stunning nature walks, or a trip to the magnificent Harrison’s Cave complex of caverns and waterfalls, before your overnight flight home the following day.

Britannia boasts Britain’s largest floating art collection, containing more than 6,000 artworks.
The multi-million pound art collection represents a new approach by P&O Cruises with works having been chosen to complement and enhance Britannia’s interior designs to give the feel of a luxury hotel. Pieces ranging from paintings and bronze sculptures to ceramics and paper wall reliefs have been created by a wide variety of artists – most of them British – with some from as far afield as Japan, Australia and South Africa.
Spirit of modern Britain

Each piece of artwork is an image of the ship surrounded by British icons such as The Shard, Glastonbury and The Angel of the North to illustrate the spirit of modern Britain. The two pieces are linked by a queue, also featuring a number of famous Brits such as Dr Who, HM The Queen and Sir Bradley Wiggins.
